I have tried to use the $1/2 coupon on multiple occassions at Walmart, and because it beeps, when it is scanned, and when entered manually, I have yet to have it accepted. Even the manager has turned me down. I was just so disgusted I gave up on this one. I actually had the clerk tell me that the product was only 97¢ in the first place that I was being a bit ridiculous by not buying it, just because I wasn’t able to use the coupon! Ironically, I had several other coupons that beeped, and those were entered manually. My personal thought was it is a printed coupon and not one from the inserts, and that’s why they choose to scrutinize some and not others. Here’s hoping that the $1.00/1 doesn’t cause the same issues! lol
